WELCOME!

To the members of the Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision,

It is with tremendous pride, gratitude, and excitement that I welcome you to a new year with GPACS.

Serving as your President is more than a title—it is an honor and a responsibility that I do not take lightly. I am incredibly proud to represent an organization built on service, leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to making a difference.

GPACS is much bigger than any one department, title, or position. We are a collective force of professionals working every day to strengthen our communities and improve the lives of those we serve.

​

Today, I proudly recognize the many individuals who make up the GPACS family:

Georgia Department of Community Supervision.
Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles.
Misdemeanor Probation Officers.
Georgia Department of Corrections.
And our retired members who paved the way before us.

Different roles. Different responsibilities. Different experiences.

But one purpose. One GPACS.

​

Our retired members have given us a foundation of knowledge and experience. Our current members continue to carry the mission forward. And our future leaders will take that mission even further.

​

As we begin this new year, I challenge each of us to look beyond what we do and remember why we do it.

​

Every case represents a person.
Every decision has an impact.
Every interaction is an opportunity.
And every day gives us another chance to lead, serve, encourage, and make a difference.

​

This year, let us learn from one another, connect with one another, collaborate across departments, and grow together. Let us celebrate our successes, learn from our challenges, and never lose sight of the importance of the work we have been called to do.

​

The strength of GPACS has never been found in one person. It is found in all of us.

​

I am excited about the year ahead and the opportunities before us. I look forward to working alongside our Board of Directors, committees, members, partners, and friends as we continue to strengthen our profession and build an even stronger GPACS.

Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for your service. And most importantly, thank you for being part of this incredible organization.
